Memorial plaques on Nethergreen footbridge.
There is a footbridge from Nethergreen South (football field) to the path behind the back of Wash Meadow. The handrail is rotten and unsafe. The path is on a Public Right of Way. So the bridge is the responsibility of the Highways Authority, Derbyshire County Council. The Parish Council can report it and request a repair. But before this, can anyone help identify the memorial plaques that have been added to the rail over the years? These might be lost if the rail is repaired. But if they can be removed beforehand they could be reattached. Please let the Council have any thoughts.
