Parwich Parish Council Serving the people in the Parish of Parwich

Mobile phone base station proposal.
May 2017.

The Parish Council has recently been approached for comments regarding a new proposed mobile phone base station to be located on private land at Brook Close Farm.

Whilst the Parish Council has been approached for comment, we do not have the power to either accept or reject the latest proposal. Likewise, should planning consent be sought from the Peak District National Park then the Parish Council will again be asked to comment but will not be able to make the decision.

The Parish Council's response will be discussed at the Parish Council at 7.00pm on the 17th May 2017.

There is no financial benefit for the village from this proposal.

Photo montage images

The photomontage images below were provided by Clarke Telecom on the 17 June 2017.

These views were requested to illustrate the masts appearance from public areas in the village. At this time of year it may be difficult to see the location from many public locations. The mast will be more visible from some upstairs windows and back gardens.

The e-mail text accompanying them read

"Please find attached the photomontages which my client has drafted to illustrate how the proposed site may look should it be installed. Please note, these montages are for an indicative representation only.

My client is looking to submit the planning application for the proposal by the 23rd June so that they will still have the ability to build the site by the end of 2017 which is in line with the governments requirements for the improved coverage to be in place for."

The zoomed in image has been added by the Parish Clerk..
